You may think the first two songs are too far away from the industrial sounds I use to offer my listeners. Well, now you are in for a treat! The guitars on this track come from different recordings from both full-length albums, cut out from their former context and spliced together to create something new. I read about the “cut-up technique” which was used by for example the dadaists in the 1920´s, and later William S. Burroughs, and it struck me that I could try to do that with some old guitar recordings. I hoped to create something even more mechanic yet unpredictable than I usually do.
Of course I had to add some new stuff as well, but I decided to let the guitar rest when composing those parts. And the end result became something different.
As for the lyrics it is basically based around the most prolific and innocent industry in a town I resided in too long. Since I am in a different town writing this, you may have figured out that I am in a state of progress for the first time in a couple of years...
